Stayed for the Carnival Triumph 5 day over Thanksgiving, both the Courtyard and the Towneplace Suites allow cruise parking and transportation to the terminal -adds $40.00 to your bill. Two bedroom suites have two queen bedrooms – with doors and fold out sofa in the living room, great for two families. Transportation to and from cruise terminal friendly and efficient. Right on time to take us back. Vehicles parked in underground parking. Breakfast didn’t have much but it was all about the parking. Note: There is no gulf view on the East side of the hotel. Really only the Courtyard is gulf front.

Very nice stay ….the room was cozy, clean, and well supplied with dishes for staying in to even a tray to have breakfast in bed. everything you need to enjoy a nice getaway. Checkin was fast and the noon checkout was great gives you time to relax and not rushed to get out the door . Will definitly stay again.
Only stayed one night. Room was clean. Front desk was very nice. Shuttle driver friendly and will take you anywhere around the island. Parking garage keeps your car out of the heat. Very nice kitchen and accessories. You can get room service from the Bistro at the Courtyard.

William P Hobby Airport
HOU is the smaller of Houstons airports, but its more convenient as its located only 7 miles from downtown Houston.
Houston Hobby is primarily served by Southwest Airlines. The vast majority of flights to Houston Hobby will be on Southwest, so if you live near a Southwest hub, youre likely to find well-priced, nonstop flights to HOU.
Houston Hobby is located closer to the Port of Galveston, so we recommend searching for flights into this airport first. If prices are significantly higher or there are fewer direct options, however, flying into IAH would be the best option.

Getting There By Public Transit
Public transit options between Houston and Galveston are limited. While Amtrak has a bus, it can only be booked in conjunction with a train ticket service departs from the Houston station.
