Under the new rules,, passengers caught smoking in non-specified areas will be fined $500 and face the possibility of being removed from the ship at the next port of call. All guests staying in the same cabin could also be removed, according to the policy.
Guests who are disembarked for violating our policy will be responsible for all financial charges and expenses to return home, and no refund of their unused cruise fare will be provided be prohibited from sailing with Carnival Cruise Line in the future, the policy notes.
The previous policy stipulated violators would be fined if they were caught smoking in their rooms, with the money going towards the cost of cleaning.
The smoking ban includes cigarettes, cigars, pipes and electronic cigarettes. Carnival also prohibits the possession or use of marijuana.
Tobacco smoking is allowed in designated areas, including the exterior decks of its ships, in casinos and nightclubs. It is prohibited in all staterooms, including outside balconies.

An Italian cruise line owned by the Carnival Corporation, Costa Cruises offers value-added services that are popular among families, young cruisers and groups.

On Seabourn ships, smoking is permitted in a designated area of the Sky bar and open terrace aft of The Club on Deck 5.
Cigar and pipe smoking are limited to the open terrace aft of Seabourn Square on Deck 7.

We operate a strict no smoking policy in all inside areas. Smoking will only be permitted on cabin balconies , and in designated open deck areas.
Electronic cigarettes that don’t emit vapour, may be used in cabins or on cabin balconies but are not permitted in any non-smoking public areas. They can easily be mistaken for real cigarettes, which may result in an unnecessary confrontation that requires staff intervention. How do you know a company will use travel math? You could say the fine print gives them permission or that lack of fine print gives them permission . But for me, the best explanation is that the company is in business. If its taking your money, its always going to use math that favors it.
Fosses case is a borderline one, when it comes to travel math. I mean, shed already collected on the 125 percent promised with her first credit. Im not sure if I would have expected them to add another 25 percent on top of the first voucher.
