Long Beach Cruise Terminal Parking Price

Since this is the first question many people have, its the first one welladdress here. In addition to wondering how affordable the parking structure isoverall, many people want to know how the price of parking here compares to thecost of taking an Uber, Lyft, or Taxi.

Thats a difficult comparison since those costs vary depending on how far from the terminal you live and the time of day that youre using the service. Uber, in particular, can have widely varying costs.

To park in the cruise lines parking structure, the cost is $23 per day. For oversize vehicles and those needing extra parking space, it is advised to call 562-901-323.

While a direct comparison for everyone is impossible, it is possible toestimate a general price range for taxis, Uber and Lyft. For both Uber andLyft, the average cost of a ride from LAX to the terminal is in the range of$35-$45, one way, and around $15 one way from the Long Beach Airport. A taxi is$45 from the Long Beach Airport, and $60 from LAX.

If you live in the area you can estimate your costs based on those ratesand distances. In general, unless youre taking a very short cruise, itsprobably cheaper to pay for a ride than to pay for parking. That doesnt factorin the cost of a plane ticket if youre traveling from out of town, though, andmost of the cruise terminal customers are not from the Los Angeles area.

The rate applies to the space, not the car. If your car takes up twospaces, youre paying double the rate.

Good Park And Cruise Options Or Cheap Parking In Long Beach

We are going on a 4 day carnival cruise, and need a hotel with a cheap park and cruise option or a cheap parking structure that allows easy access to the terminal.

There are several hotels with park n stay options. There are no “cheap” parking structures with access to the terminal.Best Western Golden Sails might fit your budget as well as the Hotel Current. We stay at the Maya which also has that option but not sure if it is within your budget??

Riff M above is correct. There is no cheap parking nearby the port–you could park in the downtown area but the parking structures there would be as expensive as that at the port.

Hotel Current offers a park and stay package with a shuttle to/from the port.

Best Western Golden Sails does not have a park and stay rate on its home page but may be able to offer you one.

Both of these hotels are on the far east side of Long Beach and offers lots of shopping and dining variety.

The Holiday Inn Downtown Long Beach offers a park and stay package–it gets wonderful reviews but is not in an area of Long Beach that I would recommend.

Cheap Parking Near Cruise Terminal

Does anyone know of a cheap or low cost overnight parking near the Carnival Cruise Line port in Long Beach? To park at the Queen Mary is now $20.00 per day. Use to be $13.00. Shuttle to the port from lot? We are departing on a Sunday.4 days of parking.

There’s no “cheap” parking right there.

You can book a hotel room at the Maya nearby and try the Carnival rate code p41 and get parking included with your stay. There’s a free shuttle to the port from there.

Other hotels in Long Beach have similar deals at different price points.

The Best Western Golden Sails might be less expensive but not sure.

Other than that depending on where you actually live, some folks park near public transit and use that to get to the port.

There are no cheap alternatives nearby. Downtown parking is pretty expensive. If it is cheap, the area is dicey and your car may not be there when you get back.

If you don’t park at the port, then you would have to arrange transportation to and from the port. While you might be thinking, you’ll park on the city streets, we have street sweeping and if you are parked street sweeping day, the ticket was, the last time I got one, $50
