You wont be lacking choices for quality fishing charters in Fort Lauderdale. However, I do recommend one above the rest: Marlin My Darlin. No way the Water Taxi can top this. Spend the extra $$. You will be glad you did. Winstonator approved. Stamp it! Ahoy!!!!!!
We thoroughly enjoyed Captain Lindsey. If you cant hear or understand her, then frankly, you may want to invest in a hearing aid. No loud obnoxious microphone needed, just well thought out historical information regarding Fort Lauderdale, with some funny jokes thrown in for good measure.
Just what we were looking forWe have been coming to Ft Lauderdale for decades and have been looking for a sunset cruise to view the magnificent waterways, yachts and homes. We took the 1 1/2 hour cruise. I was impressed with the design and quietness of the battery powered boat. The price was reasonable. Captain Rocco was one of those people who loves their job. He even dropped us off at the 15 Street Fisheries where we had a memorable dinner. A most excellent evening !

When Is The Best Time For A Boat Trip In Fort Lauderdale
Sub-tropical Fort Lauderdale is a warm year-round destination, and particularly popular with visitors looking for a winter getaway in the sun. As a result, December April is high season, so do book ahead to avoid disappointment as it does get busy here.
Summer can be hot with unpredictable weather, but this is still a great time to travel. Just plan on plenty of water activities to keep cool, and be prepared for occasional afternoon thunderstorms. Pack a jacket as well as sun protection if you intend to travel during this time.
Fall brings slightly cooler and more settled weather, which makes this an ideal time for boat trips without the crowds. The water remains warm enough to swim in too.
Fort Lauderdale boat tours operate throughout the day, with evening sunset trips being particularly romantic.
Explore Las Olas Isles In A Kayak Or Paddleboard
A paddle tour around Fort Lauderdales canals
For a more intimate experience, ditch the motor and propel yourself forward on a SUP or kayak throughout Fort Lauderdale. My favorite route is the Las Olas Isles, a scenic, yet peaceful neighborhood featuring mangrove channels, beautiful catamarans, waterfront mansions, and expensive yachts.
The best-guided tour of the area is conducted by SUP PUP, a dynamic duo of a local woman and her puppy, Mr. Beaches. The two provide SUP instruction, safety measures, quirky narration, and a wonderful tour of the Las Olas Isles.

The world-famous has been operational since the 1920s. Take Your Own Boat Tour By Renting A Vessel
Boating experienced recommended before renting!
Depart on a real adventure and cruise by all the best attractions in Fort Lauderdale at your own pace by renting a boat. With complete freedom, you can pass through Port Everglades to gaze at the cruise ships, anchor in Whiskey Creek to stretch your legs on a nature walk, party at the sandbar, or go snorkeling at one of the many hidden gems underwater.
Custom Cruises In Fort Lauderdale
The cruise begins at a Fort Lauderdale marina, at the appointed time of your choice. Once all of your guests are boarded, we cast off and the beautiful surroundings will dictate our routes.
One of the more popular routes is to head southward to pass through F. Lauderdales very busy Port Everglades. Usually you will see a number of ships in port, and of varying types. There will almost always be tankers because Port Everglades is an active oil port: most of the gasoline, diesel fuel, jet fuel and such, that comes into Florida enters here to be transported elsewhere by highway tanker or pipeline. It is also a freight port, and most often there will be one or more large container ships being unloaded by the huge shore side cranes. And depending on the day and time, you just may see some elegant cruise ships, too.
If your chosen itinerary includes northern routes, the Port will be a turnaround point. But many opt to continue south along the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway to cruise through the condo canyons of Hollywood, Hallandale Beach, Aventura and Sunny Isles. In addition to the many high-rise condos and hotels , there are some interesting private homes along this route also some of them quite new, large and most impressive. And dont worry about seeing everything at once, because ultimately the boat will have to turn around and come back northward, giving you the opportunity to catch what you may have missed on the way south.
