The Disney Wish will have three new restaurants:
Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Experience will feature live shows with Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and, of course, Olaf. It has food inspired by Nordic influences.
1923 is named after the year Walt Disney Studios opened. It has food inspired by Hollywood and California flavors.
1923 is a celebration of Walts legacy, said Claire Weiss, Creative Director at Walt Disney Imagineering Germany.
The third was initially mentioned as being top secret, but was revealed as The World of Marvel. Passengers will play a role in a mission that unfolds while they dine.
Nemos Reef Vs Nephews Splash Zone
Disney Cruise Line doesnt allow children in the pools unless they are 3 years of age or older AND potty trained. Your options for toddler splash zones on the Disney ships vary by ship.
Nemos Reef is located on both the Disney Dream and the Disney Fantasy. This splash pad is a decent sized play area with features that pour or shoot water. There is also a tiny slide in Nemos Reef for those small kids who arent yet able to use the other slides on the ship.
The baby and toddler water play areas on the Disney Magic and the Disney Wonder are much less elaborate. Since these splash zones are smaller and offer less exciting water features, they are better for babies and younger toddlers.
If you have an older toddler or a preschooler, Nemos Reef on the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy is the definite winner here.
**Note- an additional water play area called the AquaLab is available on the Disney Fantasy, Disney Wonder, and Disney Magic. Like the pools, this area is for those children who are three years old or older AND potty trained.

What Is The Best Side Of A Disney Cruise Ship
If you sail out of Port Canaveral and stop at Castaway Cay, the starboard side is the best side of a Disney cruise ship because it faces the beach of Port Canaveral where you can wave to everyone on the beach as the ship sets sail. The starboard side is also usually the side which faces Castaway Cay when the ship is docked there . The starboard side is the right-hand side of the vessel while the port side is on the left.

Disney Wish & New Ships
Years ago, at the 2017 D23 Expo, Disney Cruise Line announced they would add three new ships to their fleet. They said that the new ships would be added in 2022, 2023, and 2024 respectively, and would all be the same size, roughly 135,000 gross tons, hosting around 1,250 guest staterooms. The new ships would be powered by clean-burning liquefied natural gas, but size and fuel are where the similarities end. Each vessel will have individual one-of-a-kind experiences.
The first of the new ships is named the Disney Wish and it set sail on its maiden voyage on July 14, 2022. The two additional ships will join the fleet in 2024 and 2025, respectively, but those approximate dates are subject to change.

Which Disney Cruise Ship Is The Biggest
The biggest Disney cruise ship is also the newest the Disney Wish. She was designed to be a more spacious ship, larger than Disney Fantasy and Disney Dream, but catering to a similar number of passengers so that guests benefit from that extra space.
The two other Triton class ships that are due to launch for the fleet in the next couple of years will be a similar size to the Disney Wish, and are expected to have a similar guest capacity too.

Newer Disney cruise ships feature better technology, more activities, modern facilities, and updated decor. While old vessels are refreshed every three to five years, they simply dont compare to the range of amenities and features offered by newer cruise ships.
Besides technology, the most significant difference between old and new Disney cruise ships is the vast number of Disney properties represented on the ship. While all Disney cruise ships feature Mickey Mouse, only the latest vessels feature themed amenities and characters from Frozen, Marvel, and Star Wars.

There are 3 more Disney ships on the horizon. The Disney Wish is due to be launched in 2022. The next two ships dont yet have scheduled launch dates.

The Disney Fantasy-class ships are 130,000 gross tons and the new ships will be 140,000.
However, we know that the new Disney ships will only have the same amount of staterooms at 1,250 as the Fantasy and Dream. Therefore it seems that there will be more room for the entertainment spaces on the Triton Class ships.
We would guess that the majority will be balcony staterooms on the new Disney cruise ships.
Its a pretty good bet that the new Disney ships will have the virtual portholes in the inside staterooms as well. Another highly likely feature of the new Disney cruise ships is that there will be an expanded concierge class.
This is a very exciting time for Disney cruise lines. Not only will there soon be 3 new ships, but there will also be a brand new Disney private island location.

Which is the best Disney cruise ship is always going to depend on so many factors which only you can answer. However, there are some other things which may help you make up your mind about which Disney cruise is best for you and your family.
Each Disney ship has different entertainment. All of the Disney cruise ships have amazing nighttime entertainment. However, all have different shows.
If your Disney Princess is a particular fan of Princess Anna and Queen Elsa then you may want to pick the Disney Wonder.
All the cruise ships will have personal appearances by the Anna and Elsa, but only Disney Wonder and Disney Fantasy has Frozen, A Musical Spectacular.

If your favorite movie is Tangled then you may want to consider the Disney Magic. They are the only ship to have Tangled the Musical on board. The Disney Magic is also the only ship to have Rapunzels Royal Table restaurant.
If I had to choose a ship that has the best entertainment I would always say the Disney Wonder as it has Frozen and The Golden Mickeys.
I do also enjoy Disneys Aladdin A Musical Spectacular on the Disney Fantasy. However, for me, the Disney Wonder wins on the stage show entertainment right now.
If you want to ride the AqauDuck then you have to sail on the newest ships of the Disney Dream and the Disney Fantasy. The classic Disney Wonder and Magic really do not have anything to compare with this.
