If you need to pick up last-minute items before embarkation, there are a few stores nearby. At the cruise terminal, you’ll find the Seaman Centre Port Canaveral supermarket. It’s mainly designed for crew but you can get a toothbrush or snacks for your cabin. It’s about a three-minute walk from Cruise Terminal 5 and seven minutes from Cruise Terminal 6.
Closer to Terminal 1, look for Sunrise Marina, which has a bait-and-tackle shop that also sells some clothing, sandals and sunglasses, plus souvenirs.
If you need to do a lot of shopping, drive to Merritt Square Mall or Walmart . Both shopping centers are about 20 minutes from the port.
Other Options For Hotels Near Port Canaveral
Since many cruises departing from Port Canaveral are 3- and 4-day cruises, there is no better way to extend the vacation than by staying at one of the world-class theme parks in the area.
Disney fans can choose from over 20 different hotels, from value resorts to deluxe accommodations, at the Walt Disney World Resort. Bundling your room with tickets to the park makes this an easy way to keep costs in-check.
Of course, you will be responsible for your own transportation to Port Canaveral. This will cost you approximately $60-100 with a share ride. Or, you can inquire about other transportation from the Orlando airport to Port Canaveral.

Port Canaveral Hotels With Cruise Port Shuttles
While only a few hotels offer packages with shuttles from the Orlando airport to Port Canaveral, many more offer shuttles to the cruise terminal. If you like, you can arrange your own transportation from the airport to the hotel and then hop on one of these shuttles to and from the cruise port.
Since most people book parking packages with free transportation included, you might have to pay a small fee to take the shuttle without the package. Uber/Lyft are also available and cost about $10-15 to get to the port.
Note: If you dont plan to park a car during your cruise, dont book a parking package just for shuttle access. Its much more expensive. Simply pay for the shuttle separate or book an Uber/Lyft.
Courtyard by Marriott Cocoa BeachShuttle: $7 per personThis hotel offers a great location between the main road through Cocoa Beach and the beach itself. Guests are only an easy 10 minutes from the port and a short distance away from restaurants and things to do.
The Courtyard offers a ride to the cruise terminal at a price of $7 one way or $12 round trip. Departures are at 10:15, 11:15, and 12:15.
