MSC Cruises will operate the 5,700-guest MSC Meraviglia from the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal in New York City year-round starting in April 2023.
Its the first time one of the lines ships will homeport in the northeastern U.S. year-round. MSC Cruises also operates out of PortMiami and Port Canaveral in the Orlando area.
MSC Meraviglia will operate a variety of itineraries, ranging from six to 11 nights, with destinations in the Caribbean, Bermuda, New England and Canada. Summer 2023 cruises open for sale on March 9.

MSC Cruises has announced a major first: one of its ships will be attached to the port of New York all year long.
The MSC Meraviglia, a modern and elegant ship, will be based in the Big Apple from April 2023 and will offer year-round itineraries in the Caribbean, Bermuda, New England and Canada. Most of these itineraries will include a stop at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, the companys private island in the Bahamas.
This new position is intended to strengthen MSC Cruises presence in the North American market, further enriching the already wide selection of ships and itineraries from Port Miami and Port Canaveral/Orlando in Florida. In addition, guests will have the opportunity to extend their holiday with a stay in New York before or after their cruise.

The modern and glamorous MSC Meraviglia will homeport in the Big Apple from April 2023 for year-round cruises to the Caribbean, Canada. Many of the cruises from New York will visit Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve the lines stunning private island destination in The Bahamas. The deployment is set to enhance MSC Cruises presence in the North American market by complementing the rich choice of ships and itineraries sailing from both Miami and Port Canaveral/Orlando in Florida and will give guests the opportunity to extend their holiday with a stay in New York either before or after their cruise.
MSC Meraviglia will offer a wide variety of itineraries ranging from 6 to 11 nights and sales open today. Options are available for guests to book additional days before or after their holidays at sea to make the most of the city that never sleeps.

Scheduled for December 7, 2022, the cruise line announced plans to hold this gala event at the conveniently-located Manhattan Cruise Terminal.

MSC is moving to the Big Apple.
The cruise line will call New York City’s Brooklyn Cruise Terminal home starting in April 2023, offering year-round cruises on its MSC Meraviglia to the Caribbean, Bermuda, New England, and Canada, the company shared with Travel + Leisure. The new homeport joins MSC’s other U.S. bases, including in Miami and Orlando.

The MSC Meraviglia can hold up to 5,700 guests and offers 20 bars, 12 restaurants, and even a water park and ropes course to entertain passengers of all ages. The ship will sail six to 11-night cruises, including to MSC’s private island in the Bahamas, Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve.
It will be the first time an MSC ship will homeport in the northeastern U.S. year-round, according to the company.
Currently, MSC requires all guests 12 and older to be vaccinated, according to the company, and will lower that to 5 and older on April 23.
