Yes, we have both mens and womens restrooms aboard the ship. They are located down the stairs located in the galley and then forward through the dungeon. We pride ourselves on keeping our restrooms clean and in perfect working order. Please notify any crewmember or the Captain if you discover any problems with our restrooms. We will make every effort to fix the situation right away!
A Must Do If You Have Kids
Reviewed May 9, 2015We took our 4 year old, and he had a blast! The staff is great with the kids and keeps them busy for the entire trip! Dolphin sightings, sword fights with pirates, pulling up a treasure chest from the ocean, tattoos, dancing, cannon shooting, story telling, etc. An amazing time for kids and adults! My husband and I enjoyed the cruise as much as our son! Definitely worth the money!

The Sea Dragon Pirate Cruise is one of Panama City Beachs premier vacation attractions. Our 2 hour cruises offer something for everyone in your family. We provide an exceptional sightseeing experience of the waters, shoreline and wildlife near the entrance to St. Andrews Bay. The captain will point out numerous species of birds and fish during the cruise and if youre lucky hell scream out, There she blows! as you spot some of our playful bottled nosed dolphins. The sea is full of surprises so we never know for sure just what we might see during our cruises. There are even rumors of mermaids sometimes being spotted on the rocks of the jetties. They wave to us and try and lure us into running aground.
If you get hungry or thirsty our galley bar has plenty of cold drinks and snacks to hold you over until we return to shore. We have cold beer, wine, margaritas and rum punch as well as bottled water, sodas and lemonade. Our snacks include hot dogs, chips, cookies, peanuts, beef jerky, fruit bites and more. We also have plenty of pirate souvenirs! Even though we be pirates our prices wont hold you hostage. We make every effort to bereasonable.
Sea Dragon Pirate Cruise Panama City Beach Fl
Before he was Captain Fearless Phil, Phillip Adams was just another young boy grateful for the privilege to have been born to a family of fishermen in Panama City Beach. He spent his youth on the water, just as his father and grandfather had.
After World War II, his family got into SCUBA diving before anyone was doing it on the Gulf Coast. As each generation went by, one man took on the role of provider, diving and fishing to feed the family. Phillips mother worked at the bank, and his father was the postman. All that free fish helped, he says.
Phillip had an uncle who had been to Vietnam, returning home after being shot down. I always followed him around, wanted to learn from him be like him, he recalls.
On his 18th birthday, Phillip took his captains test with the Coast Guard. He began taking out charter boats of fishers and divers. Then, in 1978, he joined AMI Kids, working with delinquent children on the ocean. It became his career for 25 years, and he enjoyed every minute of it. But when he was ready to retire, he wanted to stay on the ocean.
That same beloved uncle, Andy, had brought a pirate ship attraction to Panama City Beach. His replica boat had been operating for five years. Phillip thought he could learn the business from Uncle Andy, then build his own boat in another harbor. But during the first month of working together, good ol Uncle Andy made Phillip an offer he couldnt refuse.
Well, would you look at that? A pirate with heart!

The Sea Dragon was built right in Panama City, and her keel was laid in 1982. It took 11 years to complete the ship, and she first set sail in 1993. She is 85 long and 26 wide and weighs in at 157,000 pounds. She is a modern-day replica of the ships that plundered these same waters centuries ago.

Who Should Go And How Long
The best thing about this adventure in Panama City Beach, Florida, is that the entire family can come along for the fun! Everyone from the smallest swashbuckler to the most experienced pirate is welcome to hop on board. Visitors ages 15-59 cost $27 per person, while seniors ages 60 and over pay $23 each. Kids ages 3-14 cost $19 each, toddlers ages 1-2 cost $13 each, and infants under age 1 are free! You are still required to have a ticket for your infant, though, so please include all members of your party when youre booking. If youre taking a sunset cruise, each ticket will cost an additional $2.
Pirate cruises last about 2 hours, but youll have everything you need to be comfortable while youre on board. Like weve mentioned, food and drink will be available if you need a refreshment, and restrooms are easily accessible. If youre worried about getting seasick, know that the captain and crew make every effort to provide a smooth ride. If you have a history of seasickness, you might want to take some medicine a few hours before the cruise, per the medicines instructions.

Will I Get Seasick
We hope not! The Captain will make every effort to stay in calm water. There may be a few minutes when we are at the mouth of the pass looking for dolphins when the boat will rock a little. It wont last for long!
If youre worried, make sure to take your motion sickness medicine early enough to do some good . If you or anyone in your group starts to feel bad make sure to stay out on the main deck and in the wind. Going down to the restrooms will make things worse! Make the Captain or one of the crew aware and we will try and help.

Fearless Phil worked for 25 years with delinquent teenagers on the ocean. In addition to being your Captain, Fearless Phil has been a SCUBA diving instructor, Fist Aid/CPR instructor, and a lifeguard.

Can We Smoke During The Cruise
Yes, you are allowed to smoke for a brief period at about the halfway point of the cruise. The Captain will make an announcement for the kids go to the dungeon to hear the Pirate Treasure Story. When you hear The Captain say this, make your way to the back of the top deck if you would like to smoke. The Captain has ashtrays for your use. Please do not throw your butts into the ocean or extinguish them on the deck! We ask that you be considerate of nonsmokers and children while youre smoking. Be aware of the wind and try to position yourself so that the smoke blows away from those around you.

Reviewed May 13, 2015This was our 2nd trip on the pirate ship & it was even better than the 1st one he did last September!! Our 5 year old loved every part & we even seen lots of dolphins & 3 babies! The crew are constantly playing & keeping the kids entertained, the captain fearless Phill is also very funny & very knowledgable about the area. It shows he loves what he does and will take the time to talk to & take pictures with the kids too!All in all we had a great trip & will be back a 3rd time soon.
