Regardless of the actual dress code, Regent passengers do dress up for dinner. Daytime wear is casual , up until 6 p.m., when it changes to “elegant casual” except on the final night of the cruise or when dining at the pool grill or bar. T-shirts, shorts, baseball caps and sneakers are not allowed in any public area in the evening, but you’ll usually find people take the dress code further, favoring the “elegant” part of the dress code over the “casual,” with skirts or slacks paired with blouses or sweaters, pant suits or dresses for ladies and slacks and collared shirts for men. Jackets are optional, but they’re fairly common.
On cruises longer than two weeks, there will also be two optional formal nights, when many passengers opt for even more formal dress.

As it celebrates 30 years of operations, Regent Seven Seas Cruises has announced its longest ever World Cruise, departing from Miami on January 7, 2025 aboard the Seven Seas Mariner. Named Away in Wonder, the journey will take in a slew of destinations in South America, the South Pacific, Australia and New Zealand, Asia, and the Pacific coast of North America en route to San Francisco. Guests will visit 97 ports of call while covering 36,295 nautical miles over a voyage lasting more than five months.
Going as far south as Antarctica and as far north as Alaska, the route includes two Pacific crossings. Travelers have the option to add an 18-night sailing to complete the loop and sail the Mexican Riviera from San Francisco to Miami, visiting ports in Costa Rica and Colombia, before a full transit of the Panama Canal.

The Great Wall & Terracotta Warriors: Two
The wonders of China are on display during this three-day journey from Xiamen to Shanghai. Guests witness the famed Terracotta Warriors Museum, an excavated burial ground of 7,000 lifesized, uniquely created terracotta warriors, horses and chariots, all armed and ready for battle. Norwegian Cancels Other Cruises
Even as this news was coming down, passengers who were booked on eight other ships in the Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings fleet also found themselves dealing with changes. In their cases, however, they found that their sailings had been entirely canceled.
Due to what Norwegian Cruise Line called COVID-related circumstances, the line delayed plans for five of its ships to resume service for the first time since the shutdown. In addition, three of the ships which already had welcomed back guests saw their next sailings axed.
Regent is a popular operator for world cruises because of its smaller ships, which allows them to get into ports some of the bigger lines cant.
At 48,075 gross registered tons, the Seven Seas Mariner only carries 700 guests and 445 crew, giving the ship a guest-to-staff ratio of 1 to 1.6.
This world cruise had a price tag starting at $78,000 per person.

For the fourth year running, Regent Seven Seas Cruises has sold out its World Cruise in record time. The sailing on Seven Seas Mariner was completely reserved before it officially opened for bookings on June 15, 2022.
The sailing, which at 150 nights is the longest in the cruise lines history, had fares starting at $86,999 per guest for a Deluxe Veranda Suite, and $249,999 per guest for a Master Suite.
Many of the passengers are past guests, but over a third of guests are new to Regent.
