Rebranding To Margaritaville At Sea
On December 8th, Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville announced the partnership with the cruise line to rebrand it as Margaritaville at Sea while still retaining the same ownership and CEO as before. The last voyage under Bahamas Paradise is scheduled to take place on April 16, 2022. Upon the completion of the final cruise, the Grand Classica will sail to the Grand Bahama Shipyard for a rebranding and refit of the ship’s interiors and venues to be themed under the Margaritaville brand. Also during the refit the ship will be renamed the . It is scheduled to begin sailing for the rebranded line starting April 30th. It will continue to offer 2 day cruises from the Port of Palm Beach to Freeport, Bahamas.

The first thing you should know: its important to go into this cruise with realistic expectations.
Its not a high-end cruise and Freeport is not the most exciting destination in the Bahamas. Ive had so many people ask me about this cruise. Its a small, inexpensive ship that departs the Port of Palm Beach for two-night trips to Grand Bahama and back.
BPCL has had another, smaller shipthe Grand Celebrationrunning the same leg for a couple years now, and after spotting the incredible Groupon deal that runs on occasion, people wonder whether the cruise is worth it essentially, for a couple hundred bucks or less, you head to Grand Bahama Island for a day, and almost everything is included in the low price of your trip .
Id never been able to give a definitive answer before because I hadnt yet experienced the ship for myself, but this weekend, I set sail on the inaugural voyage of the Grand Classica from West Palm Beach to Grand Bahama Island, and now Im back with the full scoop. I love a good jaunt to the Caribbean, and it was a dreamy weekend of sun, relaxation, and maybe a rum buzz or two.

Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line isnt a luxury cruise line and the ships arent the latest and greatest state-of-the-art types with all the newest bells and whistles .
